ROWAN

ROWAN IS A WELL-STRUCTURED, ATHLETIC GIRL WITH AN EXCELLENT TEMPERAMENT.  SHE HAS A LOVELY SOFT EXPRESSION WITH DARK PIGMENT.  ROWAN IS A PLEASURE TO HUNT WATERFOWL WITH  AND IS EXCEPTIONAL ON UPLAND BIRDS.  SHE HAS A SOFT MOUTH AND A VERY STRONG NOSE.   ROWAN IS BIDDABLE AND WORKS HARD. SHE IS QUIET IN THE BLIND, EITHER HUNTING OR IN COMPETITION.

ROWAN IS A GENTLE GIRL, LOVES CHILDREN, GETS ALONG WELL WITH OTHER DOGS, AND HAS A GOOD OFF SWITCH IN THE HOUSE.

ROWAN NEEDS ONE MORE sENIOR PASS FOR HER SENIOR HUNTER TITLE, TRAINING FOR mASTER.  SHE IS PREPARING TO COMPETE IN OBEDIENCE AND IS EXCELLING IN SCENT WORK.. SHE RECENTLY EARNED HER NOVICE SCENT TITLE, WITH A HIGH IN TRIAL FOR BEING THE FASTEST TIME IN ALL THREE COMPONENTS!

Sauvy is a very sweet natured, affectionate boy and a very strong powerful athlete.  His marking ability in the field is excellent, he is a talented and focused tracker, and he is very fast on land and water.  He is willing to work, self-confident and very biddable.  In the house he is easy-going with a great off switch.  He love everyone and every dog or puppy that he meets.

Sauvy has a wonderful Golden expression, pleasing head, dark eye, correct scissor bites and stands 23.5 at the shoulder.  He carries a moderate quick dry straight coat with good undercoat for a hunting retriever.

Sauvy is Karla's first retriever to train for hunt tests and they easily earned CK JH, W, Am WC titles.  they are currently training for SH/MH and having a wonderful time in the field.  His natural abilities and willingness to please make him a joy to work with.
